hi, I’m steph.
I’m a longform writer and managing editor specializing in hybrid human+AI content.
Professionally, I work with brands and publishers. Personally, I’m a scuba diver and rubber ducky enthusiast. Politically, I’m pro em-dash and Oxford comma. But we can agree to disagree—I’m open-minded like that.
long live longform.
Don't get me wrong, I love a good tagline. But my bread and butter is in-depth storytelling: reported features, 10-page whitepapers, verbose brand manifestos… you get the gist.
As a writer, I create longform content for powerhouse publications like T Brand Studio (NYT branded content), WP Creative Group (WaPo), and MIT Tech Review Insights. I also work directly with brands and academic institutions to produce articles, ebooks, and whitepapers people actually want to read. As a Managing Editor, I understand how to shepherd content from concept to conversion.
I'm comfortable editing AI copy and elevating AI content. I work with tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Perplexity daily, so I know where AI shines—and when it needs a human touch to really sing. I’ll never let cliché AI-isms like "rapidly evolving landscape" or "rich tapestry" slip by and make your readers roll their eyes.
And if you need a project that's 100% AI-free, I've got the writing chops to go it solo.

need to get your ducks in a row?
If you need content, I’m happy to help. Whether you’re an edgy startup crowdfunding a rad new travel pillow or a multinational corporation replete with acronyms, I understand the importance of thorough research and striking the right tone. I’m skilled at just about anything that involves words (trust me—you don’t want to play me at Scrabble).
